Nollywood mourns as Sidikat Odukanwi, popularly known as Iyabo Oko, has passed away. The actress, known for her remarkable performances in the Yoruba movie industry, had been battling with ill health for a significant period. 

Her daughter, Bisi Aisha, a soldier, confirmed the sad news of her mother's demise through a heartfelt social media post. "May your soul Rest In Peace mummy," she wrote, expressing her grief.

Iyabo Oko's health struggles had led her to take a break from acting as she focused on her recovery. However, she eventually made a comeback to the movie scene, showcasing her talent and captivating audiences once again. Unfortunately, her return was short-lived as her health deteriorated further.

Born on November 15, 1960, in Iwo Local Government Area of Osun State, Sidikat Odukanwi had a remarkable career in the Yoruba movie industry. Her contributions to the industry made her widely celebrated and respected among her peers and fans. The news of her passing comes as a significant loss to the Nigerian film industry, particularly the Yoruba movie community.
