Johnny Drille Sets the Record Straight on Relationship Rumours
Nigerian music sensation, Johnny Drille, has finally addressed the speculations surrounding his alleged romantic involvement with Nollywood actress, Tomi Ojo. The rumours began circulating after the release of his music video for the song "Believe Me," in which Ojo appeared.

During an interview with HipTv, the talented singer, who recently revealed his marriage to Rima Tahini, the director of A&R at Mavins Record, clarified the nature of his relationship with Ojo. He explained, "If you watch the video, there are two Ojos in the song, Wale Ojo and Tomi Ojo. So, in a way, it was some kind of pun but they seemed to work well together."

Drille emphasised that Ojo is a remarkable person and a pleasure to work with. He praised her contribution to the music video, stating, "She was very great for the music video. That is the much I can say, that is all I can say."

Born on July 5, 1990, as John Ighodaro, Johnny Drille gained widespread recognition with his cover of Di'Ja's "Awww." He is currently signed to Mavin Records and has become a popular figure in the Nigerian music industry.

Drille hails from Edo State, Nigeria, where he was raised by his father, who is a school principal and clergyman. With a passion for music, he began singing in his father's church at a young age. He pursued his education at the University of Benin, Benin City, where he studied English and Literature.

Despite the rumours surrounding his relationship with Tomi Ojo, Johnny Drille remains focused on his musical career and continues to captivate audiences with his soulful voice and heartfelt lyrics.
