Despite the Senate's usual non-sitting day being Mondays, Senator Adaramodu emphasised that they have made an exception due to the paramount importance attached to this national assignment. He stated, "We have suspended all our rules for them to commence the exercise next Monday."
Assuring the nation of a comprehensive and meticulous screening process, Adaramodu pointed out that the lawmakers are fully aware of the high expectations associated with those who will assist President Bola Tinubu in fulfilling his mandate and upholding the constitution.
"The Senate is going to examine the character, personality, and experiences, the background of every nominee, and we believe at the end of it, Nigerians will not be disappointed," he declared confidently.
Furthermore, the spokesperson expressed optimism that the newly constituted Federal Executive Council (FEC) would breathe life into Nigeria's struggling economy. He emphasised that the selection process would not merely focus on impressive resumes but would also emphasise the importance of possessing the right character and mental ability to contribute effectively to the success of Nigeria.
