Tinubu Ready to Lead Nigeria's Role in Africa, Says Special Adviser
In a meeting with State House Correspondents, Dele Alake, the Special Adviser to President Bola Tinubu on Special Duties, Communications, and Strategy, revealed that President Tinubu recognises Nigeria's position as a leader and is ready to embrace the challenge.

The statement came following the private visit of President Umaro Sissoco Embaló of Guinea Bissau to President Tinubu at his residence in Ikoyi, Lagos.

During the visit, President Embaló expressed his solidarity and willingness to collaborate with Nigeria under President Tinubu's leadership.

As the Chairman of the ECOWAS Authority of Heads of State and Government, Embaló aimed to strengthen the fraternal relations between the two nations.

Speaking about President Tinubu's recent policy initiatives, Alake stated, "President Embalo commended the laudable policy initiatives of President Tinubu in the last one month, and added that everyone in the international community has been commending the giant strides of the Nigerian leader."

The visit signifies the positive atmosphere being generated by Nigeria's recent progress, highlighting the importance of Nigeria taking its rightful place in African affairs.

Alake emphasised that Nigeria is being looked upon by many, especially in Africa and the ECOWAS region. He stated, "Everybody is looking up to Nigeria, especially in Africa and the ECOWAS region, and President Tinubu is ready to take up the gauntlet."

President Tinubu's willingness to step up to the challenge further solidifies Nigeria's potential as a key leader in the region.

President Embaló arrived in Nigeria with a delegation consisting of his Special Adviser Caramo Camara, Chief of Staff Califa Soares, Diplomatic Advisor Ambassador Alfredo Cabral, and Image Operator Bonifacio Correia.

Upon their arrival, Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State welcomed President Embaló at the Presidential Wing of Murtala Muhammed International Airport in Ikeja.

The meeting between President Tinubu and President Embaló, as well as the positive sentiments expressed by both leaders, signifies the growing importance of Nigeria's leadership role in Africa.

With President Tinubu prepared to take on the challenges ahead, Nigeria is poised to make significant strides on the international stage under his guidance.
