The list of ministerial nominees sent for screening and confirmation, totaling 47, includes former governors, economists, finance experts, health experts, lawyers, and allies of President Bola Tinubu. Notably, former Governor of Rivers State, Nyesom Wike, ex-Ebonyi State Governor Dave Umahi, and presidential spokesperson Dele Alake are among the nominees.

Senator Sani emphasised that the appeasement of entitled old brigades has led to the disappointment of the youth. He called for more consideration of the youths in cabinet appointments to reflect their aspirations and contributions to the nation.
The ministerial list, presented to the Senate by President Bola Tinubu through Chief of Staff Femi Gbajabiamila, contains the names of the nominees for cabinet positions. Yusuf Maitama, Architect Dangiwa, Hanatu Musawa, Chief Uche Nnaji, Beta Edu, Doris Aniche, David Umahi, Nyesom Wike, Mohamed BADARU, Nasir Elrufai, Ekperikpe Ekpo, Nkiru onyejiocha, Olubumi Ojo, Stella okotekpe, Uju Kennedy, bello Mohammed Goroyo, Dele Alake, Lateef Fagbemi, Mohammed Idris, Edu muhi, wahid Adebayo, Ali pate, Abubaka kyari, John Eno, and Sani Abubakar Damladi.
The second batch of ministerial nominees includes AHMED TIJJANI, BOSUN TIJJANI, DR MARYAM SHETTI, ISHAK SALAKO, TUNJI ALAUSA, TANKO SUNUNU, ADEGBOYEGA OYETOLA, ATIKU BAGUDU, BELLO MATAWALLE, IBRAHIM GEIDAM, SIMON BAKO. LALONG, LOLA ADEJO, SHUAIBU ABUBAKAR, TAHIR MAMMAN, ALIYU SABI, ALKALI AHMED, HEINEKEN LOKPOBIRI, UBA MAIGARI, and ZEPHANIAH JISSALO.
In light of these developments, many youth activists are urging the government to prioritize the inclusion of young people in decision-making positions to promote a more representative and inclusive governance.
