Yuletide: NSCDC Zamfara Bolsters Security

The Zamfara State Command of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) has taken proactive measures to ensure the safety and security of residents during the festive season.

Officers and personnel of the Corps have been dispatched across the state to maintain law and order.

This development was disclosed in a statement released by Ikor Oche, the spokesperson for the Corps.

The Commandant, Sani Mustapha, during the deployment, emphasised the need for the officers to uphold professionalism and discipline in the execution of their duties.

Mustapha gave assurances to the public that the Corps is committed to working in conjunction with other security agencies to facilitate peaceful Christmas and New Year celebrations. He stated that the Corps will not compromise on any security standards and will strive to protect all law-abiding citizens.

The Commandant issued a stern warning to all personnel involved in this special assignment, stressing that they must perform their duties diligently and responsibly. He made it clear that any form of negligence or laxity would not be tolerated.

Mustapha also appealed to the general public to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activities that could potentially disrupt the peace of the state.
