Tinubu hails Akindele's movie for breaking box office record

President Bola Tinubu has congratulated Funke Akindele for her movie's success in the entertainment industry.

Tinubu, who spoke through his media aide, Ajuri Ngelale, on Friday, praised the innovation, creativity, and immense artistic talents of Nigeria's flourishing entertainment industry.

He also commended Akindele for her role in advancing the industry.

The President recognised the importance of the Nigerian creative industry as a medium for not only artistic expression but also as a source of great soft power and profitable export.

“The creative industry is one of the high-employment sectors, providing jobs for our capable and talented youths. It is an industry that is vital to my administration.

“I applaud Nigerians for their constant support and patronage of home-grown creative works. We will provide the favourable environment for the industry to prosper further,” Tinubu said.
