Dr. Tom Obaseki, Chairman of Oredo Government Council, visited the site of the ongoing Auchi Market remodeling project to assess the progress of work.
He expressed satisfaction with the contractors' mobilization and commencement of work, reassuring traders of early completion as scheduled.
"The government has a strong desire to permanently settle K Market traders... by God's grace, the work will commence soon," Dr. Obaseki said. He also announced a groundbreaking ceremony for the Reconstruction of the Bond Market and called on shop owners in the Auchi Market to validate their shops at Room 13B, Oredo Government Council, as directed by Governor Obaseki.
Dr. Obaseki emphasized that the council has not appointed any agents for shop verification, and a three-man verification committee has been inaugurated to submit a report by September 6, 2024. He invited the public to witness the landmark ceremony, highlighting Auchi Market's importance.
