Owo Council Launches Campaign for Governor Aiyedatiwa's Re-Election

The Owo Local Government Campaign Council has officially commenced operations to support the re-election of Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa and his Deputy, Chief Olayide Adelami. The inauguration event is scheduled for today at 2:00 p.m., at the Local Government Party Secretariat, located at the former NEPA office in Oke-Ogun, Owo, Ondo State.

Chief (Barr.) Alaba Eniola-Ajipe, Secretary of the Campaign Committee Management, disclosed that the inauguration is exclusively for the chairmen and secretaries of the various campaign committees. "The official inauguration is strictly for Chairmen and Secretaries of the Various Campaign Committees, while the Chairmen and Secretaries are expected to thereafter organize their respective Campaign Committee’s inauguration on their own," Ajipe explained.

The event will be attended by key figures, including the Deputy Governor, Dr. Olayide Owolabi Adelami; Mrs. Wumi Isaac; Hon. Femi Idris, Chairman of the Ondo State Local Government Service Commission; Chief Femi Omosanya, Commissioner of the Federal Character Commission; and Mrs. Olajumoke Anifowoshe, former Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice of Ondo State. Several other federal and state appointees are also expected to be present.

The establishment of the Owo Local Government Campaign Council follows extensive consultations with key stakeholders within Owo. The council's primary goal is to rally support and secure votes for Governor Aiyedatiwa and his deputy, Adelami, as they seek re-election in the upcoming gubernatorial election in Ondo State.
