Iran has reportedly launched missile attacks targeting U.S. military bases in Qatar and Iraq, according to Iranian state-run media, amid escalating regional tensions. The strikes are believed to be in retaliation for recent U.S. airstrikes on three key Iranian nuclear facilities.

Initial reports indicate loud explosions were heard in Doha, the Qatari capital, where the U.S. operates the Al Udeid Air Base. The extent of damage and potential casualties remains unclear at the time of this report.

Prime9jaOnline also confirmed that explosions occurred in Qatar following earlier warnings from both U.S. and U.K. authorities, advising their citizens in the region to shelter in place due to potential Iranian attacks.

In response to the heightened threat, Qatar has temporarily closed its airspace to all flights.

The latest developments follow a U.S. military operation on Sunday, which targeted Iranian nuclear infrastructure in what officials said was a move in support of Israel. The conflict between Iran and Israel intensified on June 13, leading to widespread casualties. Iranian officials report hundreds of deaths within their borders, while retaliatory strikes have resulted in dozens of fatalities in Israel.

As the situation continues to unfold, regional and global leaders are closely monitoring events amid growing concerns about a broader conflict in the Middle East.
