The Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB) has announced that a Computer-Based Test (CBT) will soon be conducted for candidates shortlisted in its ongoing nationwide recruitment exercise.
In a statement signed by A.M. Jibril, the Board’s Secretary, on Tuesday, CDCFIB expressed appreciation to applicants for their patience and cooperation throughout the recruitment process.
According to the announcement, the CBT will be conducted across the 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT). The specific dates, venues, and other details will be communicated directly to shortlisted candidates through the Board’s official recruitment portal.
Applicants who previously applied for positions in any of the four services under the Board—namely, the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Nigerian Correctional Service, Federal Fire Service, and Nigerian Immigration Service—are advised to visit https://recruitment.cdcfib.gov.ng next week to check their application status.
The Board also issued a warning against fraudulent activities, urging applicants to rely solely on official communication from the CDCFIB portal for updates.
“All applicants are enjoined to take note of the Board’s portal address highlighted above to avoid being scammed,” the statement read.The CDCFIB reaffirmed its commitment to a transparent and merit-based recruitment process, ensuring fairness and equal opportunity for all qualified candidates.
