Trump Demands Iran’s ‘Unconditional Surrender’

The President of the United States, Donald Trump, has ruled out the prospect of diplomatic engagement with Iran, stating that his administration will only accept what he described as “unconditional surrender” from the Middle Eastern nation.

Trump made the declaration on Friday through his account on Truth Social, where he indicated that negotiations with Tehran were not under consideration.

According to the US president, the only acceptable outcome of the ongoing confrontation would be a complete capitulation by Iran. In his message, he wrote that there would be no agreement with the Iranian authorities except “UNCONDITIONAL SURRENDER!”

The statement comes amid heightened tensions following recent joint military operations reportedly carried out by the United States and Israel, which resulted in the death of Iran’s supreme leader.

In remarks that followed the development, Trump suggested that Washington intends to play a role in shaping the political transition in Iran after a successor to the late leader emerges.

He further stated that the United States and its allies remain committed to supporting efforts aimed at restoring stability in the country once a leadership considered acceptable has been identified.

While discussing the situation, the president also echoed a variation of his campaign slogan, writing, “LET’S MAKE IRAN GREAT AGAIN.”
