Popular Nigerian singer and rapper, Eedris Abdulkareem, has expressed his sincere gratitude to Nigerians as they rally around him in his health crisis.
In a video circulating online, the singer said that without the support of his fans, he would have been nowhere.
He said; “I’m very grateful to Nigerians. Without you guys, there wouldn’t have been me. I’m thanking Nigerians all over the world. Nigerians in the diaspora, Nigerians in Nigeria. Thank you for the love, and thank you for the prayers. Thank you for the support. I appreciate.”
Over the last week, fans and friends of the ‘Jaga Jaga’ crooner raised over two million Naira via his GoFundMe account as he prepares to undergo major surgery for a kidney transplant.
Earlier in the week, the singer had posted a clip of himself on a beach, assuring his fans that he is faring well.
Taking to his Instagram page, he extended his heartfelt gratitude to his fans for the “unalloyed love and care you” they have shown him since the news of his poor health condition broke.
“I am feeling better, strong and agile in body and soul while awaiting the doctors’ summons for the surgery procedures scheduled for any time from now. Prayers, faith and staunch belief in God’s awesome works drive me,” he wrote.
