Aero Contractors takes delivery of another DASH-8 Q400 aircraft
The second Dash-8 (Q-400) aircraft was delivered to Aero Contractors, Nigeria's oldest aviation company, on Tuesday at Nnamdi Azikwe International Airport, Abuja.

Under the terms of their joint venture agreement, Aero Contractors will operate the UMZA Air-owned, Nigerian-registered aircraft.

The Dash 8 aircraft, which has a seating capacity of 74, is among the most cutting-edge and fuel-efficient aircraft on the market.

After accepting the new aircraft, Capt. Abdullahi Mahmood, the managing director of Aero Contractors, stated that Nigerians should anticipate effective, timely, and dependable services "when the airline begins operation with the second Dash-8Q400 Bombardier."

Mahmood, who was represented by Mr Daniel Adah, the Head of Aero Contractors` Security, said the 75-capacity aircraft was very dependable due to its fuel efficiency.

“So with this, we hope to meet aviation demand in terms of passengers and also cost because we have noticed that cost is actually a concern for a lot of travelling passengers.”
