The assistant director of media for the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential campaign council, Otunba Biodun Ajiboye, has described Citadel Global Community Church's pastor, Tunde Bakare, as "consistently unstable."
Pastor Bakare was forewarned by Ajiboye not to engage in politics and to put more of his attention on his vocation.
Pastor Bakare, a former APC presidential candidate, urged Nigerians to vote out those who saw the office as their right.
Bola Tinubu, the APC presidential candidate, had said something, and Bakare answered by claiming that it was now the turn of the displeased Nigerians.
In response, Otunba Ajiboye said Bakare shouldn't think of himself as a political Aristotle.
In a statement that he co-signed, Ajiboye compared Bakare to a "common man on the street with no political clout."
Ajibola asserts that Bakare's loss in the APC primaries demonstrated his lack of "personality, popularity, and leadership."
“This is the same man who deceitfully told the world as if God spoke to him that he was going to be the next President after Buhari, then went into the primaries of the party he belonged to, and nobody could vote for him.
“At some point, he spoke so well about Asiwaju, at another point he will speak against Asiwaju. At some point, he spoke so well about Buhari, when he’s seeing that Buhari is not doing his bidding, he speaks against Buhari. The man is such an inconsistently unstable person, let him just face his business as a clergyman that he’s called to do rather than meddle in politics,” he remarked.
