NFF reviews Federation Cup registration fee

The Executive Committee of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has decreased the registration costs clubs must pay in order to participate in this year's Federation Cup competition.

The men's clubs will pay N70,000 for the competition this year, while the women's clubs will pay N50,000.

In response to inquiries, Ruth David, the NFF's acting director of competitions, admitted that the NFF Board had chosen to lower the entry fees in an effort to entice more Clubs to participate in the men's and women's divisions this year.

Registration costs have decreased even though the curriculum hasn't changed since it was formally presented to the Football Associations in all 36 States and the FCT.

Club registration will take place from January 16 through January 30. Player registration papers, which will be utilised to create licences, will be turned in from January 31 through February 6.

The 2023 Federation Cup will take place in many States and the FCT from February 18 to March 19; by March 20, the States and the FCT must have submitted their two representatives to the NFF for the national competition.

Dates for the national competition's playoff encounters, National Draws, and other levels will be decided later.
