Democracy Day: PDP Chieftain Urges Nigerians; Let's Make Nigeria Work
A prominent member of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Osun, Prince Dotun Babayemi, has emphasised the need for Nigerians to actively contribute to the growth and development of the country, aiming for it to become one of the best nations in the world.

In his message delivered in Osogbo on Democracy Day, Babayemi stressed the importance of perceiving Nigeria as an ongoing project that must succeed, calling for pragmatic actions and support from those in positions of authority.

Acknowledging the diversity of expressions allowed in a democratic society, Babayemi emphasised the significance of collective efforts for the common good of the nation and its people.

He expressed optimism about Nigeria's democratic journey, noting that although there have been challenges, the country has made significant progress and continues to mature.

Pointing to the 2023 general elections and the emergence of new leaders at all levels of governance, Babayemi highlighted that it demonstrated Nigeria's growth and development as a nation.

While acknowledging that the electoral process may not have been flawless, he emphasised the importance of gradual progress towards a more perfect system.

Babayemi appealed to Nigerians to maintain a positive mindset towards the country and actively contribute to its success.

As the nation celebrated Democracy Day, he urged everyone to work together to ensure the prosperity of Nigeria, emphasising that there is no other place they can call their own.

Encouraging support for the current government and adherence to the law, Babayemi emphasised the collective responsibility of all citizens in making Nigeria a better place.
